IMP666/Razor1911 Party Report - page 1/2 Darkdude/D-TECT The party took place in Arendal/Norway. Arendal is wellknown for it's not so good previous parties, and the fact that only 220 people showed up doesn't make it any better. They were from(A-Z): Amega Industries Andromeda Arc Empire Backbone Society Backdrop Cinfex Design D-TECT Deadline Decibel Desperados Dexion Epidemic Exile Fantasy Riders Flash Production Fraxion Gemini IMP 666 Inferno Massive Motion Network New Wave Pulse Pure Metal Coders Razor 1911 Rebels Shades Shockwave Spaceballs Symbiosis Talent The Phoney Callers Utopia Vega Vision (Sorry if forgotten!) The party began Thursday the 26th of September and ended on the 29th. The party-place was very difficult to find, because there was no sign whatsoever to indicate that a party was taking place! The invitation stated that there was room for 1000 people. BULLSHIT! It wouldn't have been possible to squeeze more than 500-600 people and there would definetely not have been room for the same amount of computers! If I had written that invitation I would have written the maximum amount of people to 300. Late saturday night/sunday morning the competitions began, and it was really a fiasco! We all were looking at a big blurry kind of screen which didn't show any details at all! LAME!!! You couldn't even read normal ASCII text! There were in fact some funny competitions too, like the Twintris competition. (Good idea, by the way!) I guess this party is what "conference" means. As far as I know, there was no non-Norwegian groups present! So, my rating has to be.. A rather poor party, with desasterous competitons... Better luck next time dudes! This was a very disappointing party. My personal highlights was the bus-ride and going to the local pizza-bar! Oh Well... at least I got to meet our Norwegean sysop Phonebilly! (Yo! Nice pizzas! Too bad we had to wait a lifetime! Hehe..) Signed: Darkdude/D-TECT (If somebody totally disagrees, then feel free to send you're opinion to the reader's letters section!.)
