     DIGITAL SYMPOSIUM '92 REPORT
     ----------------------------
           (Typed by Dark!)

I arrived at the party place,
Rotherham leisure centre at about
10:30 am After handing my ticket to
the door-men (whoever they were?) I
walked into the main hall, I saw a few
groups setting up the Amigas for the
day round the edges of the hall and I
just walked around looking at the
projects people were working on, then
I noticed the LSD corner with
brilliant airbrushed logos by Fish!,
So I went over to speak to Pazza,
after a brief chat and introduction to
other group members moved around and
started chatting to USM/ Delicious
designs who was looking through some
source on Baa Baa/?'s Amiga, after
talking to him for a while I decided
to see the LSD demo that was to be
released there, `Jesus on E's' (27 min
Techno demo, Cool!)
After that I went off to meet one of
my contax, Delbs/LSD except I thought
it was him except for some reason,
USM/Delicious designs (The tall one)
was wearing a sticker saying Delbs was
him so I got very confused when they
both said they were Delbert!
  When Elwood/ Delicious designs
appeared with the other members I went
over to his amiga where USM (the
coder) wanted to show me Elwood's pic
which he assured me was going to win
the GFX Competition (Which it did!)
Anyway, the day progressed and I met
some more cool guyz and mainly leeched
around on Elwood's amiga playing
`Pinball fantasies' and going through
his GFX disk (hehe)
Not much more to say really, the day
went by really quickly and the hall
gradually got fuller until there was a
few hundred freaks present and
everyone's screen on the whole either
had Pinball Fantasies or X-copy
loaded!
Later in the afternoon the tug of
war competition was held, I can't
remember who beat who but I know `The
Northern Bastards' won with LSD coming
a close second I think(!)
In the evening the demos, music and
GFX were shown, but where was the
large screen?? Instead we got a
monitor on a table on the stage, Not
very professional Digital? So
Everyone was standing on chairs
getting a not very good view!
When the results came in, I noted
`em down so here they are:

     DEMO: 1:Anarchy-Flower power
     2:Silents-Enjoy the silents
   3:Slipstream-Soul contamination

GFX: Joint 1:Elwood/Delicious and
             ?/Rebels

         Music 1:Nuke/Anarchy

Overall quite a fun party for my
first ever but in my opinion there was
quite a severe lack of organisation,
as usual, no P.A system, no big
screen, Ah well it was fun and it
didn't claim to be a `Party '92'
Challenger! All the same well done
Digital!

Just to end it off, hi to everyone I
met at the party including: Everyone
in Delicious designs, Pazza, Delbs,
Maximan, Watchman/LSD,Ghost of DMX and
also Gemini of DMX who said he'd

Headcrash,Overide/BB UK, Fester/A!,Paz
Fish,Delbs/LSD,Kurax+Jake. Also hi!
