The Party 1993 You Can't Beat The Feeling! Copied By Twain Pain/Vicious The Amiga computer is still going strong, and never before the Amiga owners have been as active as at the moment. One of the reasons is the release of some new Amiga models, that really pushes the number of Amigas sold. A lot of Amiga owners display their artistic skills in demos, as they call them. A demo is a program build upon pictures, music and graphic effects, and it's in these demos, that the possibilities of the Amiga really comes to an expressions - demos can be regarded as state of the art for computer coding and are in many ways similar to music videos. Demo groups of young people make the demos, these people are coders, graphicians and musicians, and a couple of times every year the groups join demo competitions, where they present their productions for each other and the remaining audience at the gathering. The local demo groups where the gathering is taking place organize the arrangement. Besides the demo competition a lot of other activities takes place at a demo party, such as graphics competition, music competition, computer games competition, presentation of (computer made) films and other productions, concerts and exchange of ideas and contacts of course. THE PARTY is an international demo- party taking place in Denmark.
