Handle: Frame Group(s): C-Lous Age: 17 Occupation: "Art director" sounds cool. What utilities do you use the most? (Name 3 of them!) - On Amiga I use Deluxe Paint IV, Protracker for listening to modules and Filemaster for mastering files. On PC I use Photoshop 4.0, Netscape 4.03 and Pagemaker 6.5. How long have you been on the scene? - As swapper since '92 and graphic designer since early '93. What do you think of the scene today? - Honestly, I think it really sucks because of the many ugly pc productions and few Amiga releases. I know that the Amiga scene never will be like it used to ever again, which is a pity. Of course one could complain about the quality on Amiga releases, but it's better to support the producers with response that they would get something out of. For me, positive criticism means such as: "I think it would be better if you did this... next time" and not just something like "it's supa' cool, man". Do you think the scene has a future at all? - That depends of course what is ment with the word future. There will, for sure, be an Amiga scene in the future for let's say about 10 years, but it will be much like the C64 scene, hopefully with more taste, as it's really possible on the Amiga in contrary to the C64. But I doubt it will. What do you think will become of the Amiga? (What do you think of it's future?) - There will of course be some devoted persons left, but I'm not the one of them. Of course there is a chance if the present Amiga company will come up with some monster machine, but as nothing ever happens (what I know), it will not rise in popularity. It's a pity Commodore not could follow the computer development some years ago. If they had, the situation had been totally different today. The Amiga OS was, and on some points it still are, the best OS. Like I said, how cool the computer could have looked today IF... If you were the boss of Amiga International, what would you do? - Quit the job as I know there are others that would do it better. But I hope the present managing director of Amiga International will work on the OS, the graphics, the music and use some RISCs in a new computer and introduce it into the market like hell. If you were the boss of Microsoft, what would you do? - Think, for heavens sake! If you had a gun in your hand, and Bill Gates was standing next to you, what the HELL would you do? - Force him to invest all his money in the Amiga platform and hire some guys that knew what to do. Name three sceners you think will become BIG soon: - No idea! And finally; what do you think of Retro? :) - I've never seen it so I don't know, but I wish you guys good luck!
