spotlight   many  times  lately,  is
Oistein  Eide.   Tip  and  Mantronix
has,  in Zine and Crystal Symphonies
II,   made   many   frontal  attacks
against   Oistein.    Oistein  first
thought  to not answer this childish
behaviour, but now he has decided to
clear   up   the   mess  around  the

Those who have been in the scene for
more  than 1 year must remember him,
4-mat,  he  released  many excellent
music  pieces  for Anarchys' more or
less  good  productions.   He topped
all   musicians   charts   for  many
months.

After  he  had  been  on the top for
some  time  and  he  looked  to stay
there    forever,   some   musicians
started  to  complain that 4-mat was
not  talented.   He  ripped  all his
instruments  and

In  last RAW you could see a picture
of  his Amiga.  This time we have an
interview with the man behind one of
the   most  exciting  Amiga  in  the
scene!


Can  you  tell  us all the equipment
you have made to your Amiga and give
a brief explanation to each item?

No  problem.  Actually you cant call
this    equipment,    it   is   only
indicators  and  switches  but  i'll
write them down anyway.

The  NEW  Eurochart will be released
at  the  Hurricane party in Denmark.
RAW  talked  a  bit  with  the  main
editor   of   the   NEW   Eurochart,
Estrup/Static  Bytes,  to hear which
thoughts he had about it!

I guess we missed the Eurochart like

Well,on  the  14.03.92  at 6.33 a.m.
we   (Doom,Toxic   and  Hedgehog  of
DESIGN   +   two  independent  guys)
started  our  trip  to  the CeBIT by
entering   a  train  of  the  German
BundesBahn.   After about 2 hours of
lameness   we  left  the  train  and
entered the first CeBIT hall.  There
we had to pay 13 DM entrance fee and
then finally we were allowed to take
part in the biggest Computer-Expo in
the  whole

concerning   Phenomena  and  Light's

There  were many people at the shop.
I met the mother of a friend of mine

            FLESHWORLD 1
------------------------------------
Another  "NEW"  mag.  Well, it's not
that  new.   You  feel you have seen
everything   before  (Design,  code,
articles).   This  mag  from Finland
don't  seem to be so much worse than
Maggy,  but  the  distance  till the
greater mag is BIG.

Maybe  this  mag  has  the chance to
survive.  But if they should surive,
they must improve!

            BLIP VERTS 5
------------------------------------
Blip Verts 4 was a CATASTROPHE!  Now
it's  just  a normal boring mag.  It
got  it  highlights!   Some articles
sure   are   worth   reading.    The
Handling  of the mag isn't that good
(Change  of  pages E.G).  But let us
see the positive thing.  This mag is
improving.   And as long it is doing
that we can't complain.

The  scene  also  need  a  mag  from
Australia  &  New Zeeland.  Continue
your work!

         CRACKER JOURNAL 28

It's  amazing  how  these  dudes can
keep  the  same  code  for  *  28  *
issues.

It's  also  amazing  how  this  code
COULD  be accepted 2 years ago.  The
code  &  handling  is  direct awful.
It's  would been MUCH MUCH better if
they  could  spread  the  disc  with
AscII files on a disc.

For  this  magazine  is not mag like
all  other, MANY of the articles can
be  quite  interesting.  I find this
mag  better than Most average ma

          FREE AND EASY 3
------------------------------------
As  the  main  editor  in  this  mag
joined RAW, I better be kind to this
mag!   At  last  those guys have got
the  design  alright.   The articles
are  average,  but  too many written
like a scrolltext.


IF  they  improve the articles, they
will  surely be a mag to regonize in
the future!

          FREEDOM CRACK 9

After  Freedom  Crack decided to put
the  mag  on  a  whole disc it's has
surely  improved  a  bit.   But  you
still   feel  something  is  missing
before it's a top mag! 

I  think  it's the ORGINALITY of the
articles.   Topics  like Friendship,
THE  scene  in  1988  and stuff like
that    isn't    exactly   new   and
revoloutionary.

The code & design of the mag is good
and it is easy to handle the mag!

It's  a  mag  right  behind

            GRAPEVINE 9
-------------------------------------
This  is a promising mag.  They have
really  improved  their  quality the
last  months (Like every other mag!)
Many of my friends like this mag.  I
don't  find  this  mag  so  special.
It's  got many articles, YES!  , but
I  don't find the articles that good
compared  to  other mags.  Different
people - Different Tastes, I guess!

A mag right behind the Best ones!

This  mag  have  the Best lay-out of
all   magazines  on  Amiga  and  the
loading system is just brilliant.

TOO  bad  the articles dont have the
same   standard.    There   are   an
interesting  article about the Amiga
600  and a quite interesting discmag
test.   The rest of the articles are
just about average.

The  music  is  Brilliant,  but it's
ripped  from  a  CRB  demo so I have
heard it sometimes before!

The   Best  mag  from  the  Finnish
scene,  but they has to improve even
further  to  meet the Big mags.  The
news  section  is  very  updated and
intresting.   About  40  articles is
too less for a discmag I think!

             MC DISK 4
------------------------------------
This  mag  seems  to  have  a  great
motivation!   They have worked a lot
and have now got the code and design
nearly perfect!

This issue contains so many articles
that  you  will need a whole week to
read  them.  The best part of Mcdisk
is  that  the topics of the articles
is widely spread.

Mcdisk  4  is  the  best  issue from
these   dudes,  will  they  continue
their success?

WHAU!   What  a  coding of this mag!
This  mag has without doubt the best
coding  and  the  design!   But what
about  SPEED  and  UserFriendliness?
Not  on the top of the priority list
I guess.  I used 20 minutes to learn
how   the   code  functioned  and  5
minutes  to read the articles.  So I
guess this issue 0 was just released
to let people get the mag to learn.

The    contents    is    mainly   of
pornographic  nature.   The

First I must say that I ADMIRE Grace
for  starting  this Untradional mag.
I WISH this mag the best luck on the
future!

The  stories  in  this mag are quite
good.   Personnally  I  like to read
funny  articles.   So  I should wish
Grace could include more such stuff.
If    I   want   to   read   Science
Fiction/Horror   I  would  prefer  a
Stephen  King  book or something.  I
can  guess  it's  HARD to get enough
articles  for each is

STOLEN DATA 8
------------------------------------
After  months  of  developing  a new
code  and  design,  Stolen  Data  is
finally    released!     The   first
impression  of  this  mag  is really
great.   The  design  is  lovely and
Nuke  know  how  to  make  mag music
which  doesn't  take  too BIG space.
The  change  of  pages is nearly the
same as Fourth Dimension once had.

The  contents  is  better  than ever
seen  in a Stolen Data issue before.
Especially  I  like " A fist full of
Discma
