In the last years, this demo scene event has grown to the best and biggest German party and its name can sometimes be heard together with "The Party", "The Gathering" or "Assembly" in the same

Some  things  are bigger than life and
you recognise them if they are able to
bring  back  motivation  to people who
seemed   to  be  lost  for  the  Scene
already.
Mekka  &  Symposium 1998 seems to have
been  one  of those things as not less
than   four   Sceners  decided  for  a
comeback, underneath them Brainwasher,
coder of Rage!.

 Where  can  we,  as  loyal passionate
Amiga  sceners,  get  our core scenish
needs  fullfilled  anno  domini 1998 ?
In  a  huge, half empty hall dominated
by persons who have nothing to do with
Amiga  demos  and  only play games?  I
don't  think so!  For a scene party to
establish  and symbolising a good name
for  itself  takes  atleast  two maybe
even  three  years.   That's  why  the
Symposium  &  Mek
