(HAMAR-NORWAY/RAW):    The   Gathering
1996  will  be held in Vikingskipet at
Hamar  in  Norway  from  2nd to 6th of
April.   The organizers will this year
be  CRUSADERS,  none  of  the  persons
involved  in  the  flop from Gathering
1995 held in Stavanger.  CRUSADERS are
the  group  that  started  this  known
party  in Norway, and finally they are
back  in business again.  - 'We have a

T.he   Gathering'96  was  sort  of  an
..success,  the  best  thing  was that
there wasn't any powercuts.  As always
it  is  impossible to run a huge party
like  the  Gathering without problems,
the  compos  was alittle fucked up and
they   showed  them  at  some  strange
times...    So  alot  the  people  was
sleeping  when the Gfx compo was held,
also  the  *NEW*  vote system that was
going  to  function just suxxed...  If

Looking back at the past years, we would surely not have any big difficulties to set the Norwegian Gathering as one of the few scene events, able to attract foreign visitors and to guarantee a necessary dose of international character to the various competitions. This year, as the last 5 years, it was time for the 6'th Gathering in Norway,
This year it was located in Vikingskipet, which was the main Olympic Hall from
the winter Olympics in '94 which with it huge 12000 Square metres was a nearly
Perfect location for The Gathering'96...

This year Crusaders was back, under the name of Kandu, and made really a
successfull party, and showed us all that they could make a good party, so now
