welcome to planet groove, the world's first illegally programmed a.g.a.
demonstration, by team hoi. special thanks must go to arjan van rooyen for
his invaluable programming assistance. this demo was created in february
1993, without any specific a.g.a. hardware documentation, for the planet
groove b.b.s. in the netherlands. call your system operators ashton and
panther at (0)8380-40916 for amiga and pc stuff. try the following cool dutch

and the black hole: (0)30-940197 (daniel ockeloen (pc and amiga)). well,
dear audience, please allow us to introduce ourselves, for you might not
recall ever having heard of us before. team hoi exists out of rhino, the
coder, ramon, the musician, and metin, the painter (that is me). let me
mention our various incarnations through the years, in chronological order...
the incredible trio / the techno-force (remember our mega-demo?), the digital
force (remember the raps?), electronic audio recordings (remember our music
demo-discs?), soft eyes (remember the music programme sidmon, its sequel
mugician and the shoot-'em-up game venomwing?). as team hoi we created the
game called hoi during the period from september 1990 to september 1991. too
bad hoi encountered an unnecessary release delay of one year, due to the wrong
choice of publishers. as we have bored you enough with our history, we will
continue to bore you with the traditional regards... let us wish love, peace
and happiness to: all other former members of the digital force (joreon,
wotan, blowfly, heinstein and ashton), the jungle command / critical (hi mcs
and boil!), tim follin (your music is brilliant!), quadlite (your demoes with
tim follin's music were great!), daniel silva (we want you back on dpaint!),
jay miner and his team (we want you back on the amiga!), commodore (amiga
forever!), chris weber (hi! leave us a message at usenet!), the maniacs of
noise (hi jeroen! have you seen us on television? be glad! it was
terrible!), the boys without brains (we hope to meet you at oz '93!), okido
(hi nico! we are looking forward to oz '93!), the one (thank you for your
fantastic hoi review!), amiga mania (thank you for your great hoi review!),
joystick (thank you for your nice hoi review!), franck sauer (your paintings
are superb!) and of course a warm heart to our close personal friends! a
message to the creators of zool: if you want your innocent buyers to believe
that you have really re-written your game to utilize the possibilities of the
amiga 1200, then at least enhance the copper color range to 24-bit values!
