About The Syndicate

The Syndicate were initially a division of The Beastie Boys before taking their independence. The group died in 1990 after trainer-makers Bitcracker and Gordon (both ex-Black Monks and ex-Supplex) joined, then quickly left to form Sensics. Two other groups called The Syndicate existed after that, one short-living Dutch modem trading group, and the other a Swedish-born international group which intended first to do cracks but released a dozen intros/demos and a diskmag. Both of these saw the light in 1992.
